McKenzie Flinchum, RD, LD/N, is a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist.
McKenzie studied at University of Florida and later enrolled in the didactic program in dietetics at the University of North Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. She completed her supervised practice through the University of North Florida, and she gained experience in clinical nutrition at Orlando Health, with a specialty in bariatric nutrition. She also gained experience in sports nutrition and counseling during her accredited supervised practice.
McKenzie has been involved with sports and fitness her entire life. With 15 years of gymnastics training and a 2nd degree black belt in Shorin Ryu karate, McKenzie has learned the power of nutrition on sports performance, as she has competed at the state, national, and international levels. McKenzie also placed first place at an NPC figure show in 2013 and is currently studying and practicing to be a certified personal trainer. A registered dietitian, McKenzie is a nutrition expert with knowledge of nutrition on both an aesthetic level and its important impact on overall health and lifestyle.
McKenzie is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition dietetic practice group.
