George began a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified training regimen in 1991, resulting in both improved athleticism and an over 100 pound weight loss. His weight loss transformed his body and paved the way for his career in fitness, martial arts, and athletic training. He has shared his passion for fitness and athletics with numerous athletes. He helps athletes to hone their skills, improve their ability to defend themselves, strengthen their will to succeed and ultimately achieve their athletic goals.

He has trained under and earned certifications from some of the world’s highest ranked instructors, including first and second generation Bruce Lee students Sifu Jerry Poteet and Sifu Lamar Davis II as well as UFC Coaches “Judo” Gene Lebell and Gokor Chivichiyian.

In 2004 he opened the Jeet June Do Self-Defense Training Center in Clifton Park, NY specialized in self-defense for women. He also worked with Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan Insurance company where he developed numerous women’s and children’s self-defense workshops. He trained a wide array of individuals varying in age and athletic backgrounds. His students not only became more confident but, they also improved and built upon their athletic abilities.

Along with his passion for self defense training, George has helped athletes in all sports to gain a winning edge. Shortly after marrying his wife Latia, he moved to Vero Beach, Florida and became a certified personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

As an athletic trainer and coach, he offers a unique mental and physical approach to personal training. He provided athletes with tailored programs to help them excel at their sport an take their game above the compeition. From sports psychology, to speed, agility, and injury prevention, he has experience in training individuals from a variety of backgrounds and thletic abilities, helping them improve speed, increase agility and explosive power.

He earned an A.S. in Applied Science from Schenectady County Community College and a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Psychology from State University of New York.
